Floral Bunny Headband

This year has been going by so quick! I feel like we just had Christmas. If you're a procrastinator like me, you may still have a few Christmas decorations hiding around your home. But here we are, Easter is almost here. Can you believe it?

I was on Pinterest a few weeks ago (Okay, okay. When am I not on Pinterest?) and I saw the cutest little Easter headband made out of fabric and felt. Being the crafty person I am, I knew I needed to create a similar crochet version. We may not have any little girls in our home, but I just can't resist adding girly embellishments on handmade projects. It just means I get to spoil my friend's little girls!

The day before Easter, we like to paint hard boiled eggs with our kiddos so we can share them with the Easter bunny when he comes to visit. In the morning, plastic eggs are filled with fruit snacks, gold fish, dried fruit, little treats, and scattered around the front yard. This is the first year where our littlest can actually enjoy the festivities. He turned two in January and I already have a hunch, that once he realizes there's treats involved, he will make it his job to find every egg he can.
What are some of your favorite Easter traditions or memories?

I really love how adjustable this headband pattern is. The ears and embellishments can be created in a wide variety of sizes based on yarn weight, hook size, number of rows, etc. I hope you have fun mixing different color schemes and putting your own spin on this adorable floral headband.
Happy Easter, enjoy!

Ears
Sew ears a little less then half way down the headband and slightly tilting outwards. By sewing the ears farther down the headband, it will help them stay upright instead of falling down.

Floral Embellishments
Sewing on the floral embellishments, snuggly place the three little flowers over top of the bottom of the ears and the rose/leaves right under.
